Egypt Ossama Faysal From The Bench To Give Win To Zamalek In Injury Time Against Talae El-Gaish

Zamalek recovered from conceding a first-half goal to win 2-1 at Talae El-Gaish in a league game on Thursday. The victory came from a late header from youth striker Ossama Faysal.

The 20-year-old came off the bench, five minutes from time, to score the winner with a nice header in injury time.

El-Gaish striker Amr Gamal stunned the hosts in the 28 th minute, while Zamalek’s Tunisian striker Seif Jaziri leveled the score on the hour-mark.   

The score remained unchanged till coach Patrice Carteron introduced youth duo Ossama Faysal and Seif Gaafar at the expense of Seif Jaziri and Hazem Emam respectively with five minutes remaining.

In injury time Faysal met a pinpoint cross from Ahmed Sayed with a nice header to score the winner.

Zamalek are leading the league table with 51 points, ten points ahead of second-place Ahly who have four games in hand.
