African players abroad Queens Park Rangers Officially Released Eberechi Eze’s Younger Brother Chimaechi

Queens Park Rangers have officially announced their Academy squad retained and released list following the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season.

Chimaechi Eze, the younger brother of Super Eagles target Eberechi appear on the list. He thus has to look for a new employer next season. Because the Hoops have not offered him a new deal.

Chimaechi joined Queens Park Rangers at U15 level. And he has been described as a pacy forward who enjoys combining with others in attacking areas.

He represented Queens Park Rangers in U18 Professional Development League and FA Youth Cup in 2020-2021.

Eze is the second player of Nigerian descent QPR released as Aramide Oteh is also leaving Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

The 22-year-old Oteh enjoyed loan spells at Walsall, Bradford City, Stevenage and Colchester United during his time with Queens Park Rangers, for whom he made 21 appearances and scored two goals.

Luke Thomas, Nathaniel Orafu and Ody Alfa remain contracted to QPR for next season.
