Africa Soccer Pyramids Send Enyimba Out Of CAF Confederation Cup

Enyimba has been sent packing from the 2020/2021 CAF Confederation Cup by Egyptian side Pyramids FC on 5-2 aggregate.

The People’s Elephant failed to overturn a 4-1 deficit they incurred in the first leg in  Egypt as they were held to  a 1-1 draw at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.

Fatai Osho’s men could not put up much fighting Spirit against their Egyptian opponent despite optimism before the game that they could turn the deficit.

Ibrahim Abdel gave the visitors the lead in the 32nd minute.

Anayo Iwuala however equalised for the home team eight minutes later after he was teed up by Stephen Mango.

Enyimba fought back to score more goals after the break but were thwarted by the visitors.
