Amazulu FC coach Benni McCarthy has been nominated for the DStv Premiership Coach of the Season Award in South Africa.

The Premier Soccer League unveiled the list of the nominees on Wednesday.

Joining the former Porto star on the list are Mamelodi Sundowns’ coach Manqoba Mngqithi and Mandla Ncikazi (Golden Arrows).

There are 11 categories for the individual awards, which include the DStv Premiership Player of the Season.

Sundowns leading striker Peter Shalulile has, for the season year running, also earned a nomination for the best player award.

Shalulile has earned the nomination alongside Sundowns team-mate, Themba Zwane and Thabiso Kutumela of Maritzburg United.
