Zambia’s Chipolopolo coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has named a provisional 36-member squad for the forthcoming friendlies on the Fifa window next month.
Zambia travel to face Senegal on June 5 then to Benin three days later before moving to Sudan on 11 June 2021.
Micho has opted to give a break some Europe-based stars such as Patson Daka, Fashion Sakala and Enock Mwepu.
The absence of the trio has paved the way for Micho to recall the likes of Augustine Mulenga who is in form at AmaZulu FC in South Africa.
Goalkeeper Cyril Chibwe from Polokwane FC in South Africa has also earned the call-up.
Other notable names in the squad include Ntazana Mayembe from Cardiff City in England and Clatous Chama from Simba SC in Tanzania.
The inclusion of Mayembe does not come as a surprise considering that Micho embarked on a player scouting mission in Europe recently.
