CAF Champions League Mosimane Careful But Confident Al Ahly Will Clinch CAF Super Cup Title

Al Ahly will be aiming to lift their first CAF Super Cup in seven years. The Egyptian side willl be in clash with their Moroccan opponent RS Berkane on Friday on May 28th. A game to kick off 16:00 GMT at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha.

Ahead of this challenge, Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane has stressed that CAF Super Cup clash against RS Berkane will not be a walkover for the Red Devils as he reiterated his faith in the team to clinch the title.

Al Ahly have regained two of their stars in Ali Maaloul and Hamdy Fathi. They who came back from different injuries to support the squad in their encounter.

The Moroccan side have achieved just one victory in their last six games in the Moroccan league. However Mosimane is not encouraging the team to be relaxed ahead of the game.

The Moroccan team displayed very good performances at the beginning of the season. And they are the Confederation Cup champions. I think it’s 50-50% between both teams.” Mosimane said in a press conference.

We have faith in our abilities in winning the trophy. We have prepared well and in the best way for this game. We watched several games of Berkane. And we know they are far from being an easy opponent.”

“When you are Al Ahly coach you and the players are under pressure in every match. We indeed feel that and we have to withstand this to achieve the desired result. We have a duty to make our fans in Egypt happy.” Added the coach.
