Egyptian Premier League side Wadi Degla decided to sack their coach Mario Salas after a succession of poor results.
Salas has been appointed in February as a replacement of Nikodimos Papavasiliou to improve the squad and get better results.
However, the 53-year-old did not fill the expectations of the Board as he has just won four of his 17 games at the helm of the club.
While they still have 10 games to play in the league and are just six points away from getting out of the relegation zone (17th), the team’s performance doesn’t seem to show any signs of improvement.
The club has then decided to sack Mario Salas. His replacement is yet to be announced.
