Algeria continue its unbelievable streak as they thumped Mauritania tonight 4-1 at Mustapha Tchaker Stadium in Blida.

The Fennecs hosted Mourabitounes who have just secured their qualification for the next Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon from January 2022 in a friendly match.

And Djamel Belmadi’s men did it with a lot of style as Galatasaray star Soufiane Feghouli opened the scoring in the 40th minute to hand his side the lead at half-time.

The veteran right-wing netted his brace 17th minute later to make it 2-0. However, AS Vita Club’s defensive midfielder Sidi Yacoub, 25 gave hopes to the visitors as he equalized.

This was the last goal of Corentin Martins’ men as they later conceded two goals from Adam Ounas (60th) and Bagdad Bounedjah (70th).

Algeria will take on Mali on Sunday, June 6 while Mauritania will be waiting until June 11 before playing their next match against Liberia.
