Mamelodi Sundowns centre-forward Peter Shalulile claimed the Premier Soccer League Footballer of the Season award as he had a tremendous campaign with the Brazilians.

The Namibian scorer netted 15 goals and provided 6 assists in 25 league games this season.

However, his figures are even better when it comes to accumulates them across all competitions as he bagged 22 goals in 39 appearances.

The 27-year-old beat Maritzburg United striker Thabiso Kutumela and teammate and last season’s winner Themba Zwane to the highly-coveted award.

Shalulile has also won the Players’ Player of the Season award as the Chloorkop side lift their 11th league title.
