Black Stars back to Accra after friendly against Morocco’s Atlas Lions

The Black Stars of Ghana have landed back in Accra on Wednesday afternoon following their 1-0 defeat to Morocco in a friendly the previous day.

CK Akonnor’s side loss their first friendly at the FAR Sportive stadium in Rabat on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 against the North African team.

The squad have then quickly returned to Accra in order to prepare the hosting os Ivory Coast who they are challenging next Saturday, June 12.

Charles Akonnor will certainly make changes in his starting team against the Elephants with the likes of Andre Ayew to start the game.
