The Elephants have had their training session after Cape Coast Stadium’s lawn recognition as they are set to engage Black Stars of Ghana in a friendly game on Saturday at 5pm.
This meeting does not look like a friendly at all. Both Elephants and Black Stars will knock horns on Saturday evening to write another page of their rivalry history.
Patrice Beaumelle’s squad arrived in Accra on Friday afternoon and had a session in stride.
That session saw the participation stars the likes of AC Milan playmaker Franck Kessié, Tottenham right-back Serge Aurier as well as Mohammed Kudus’ Ajax teammate Sebastien Haller.
The Elephants have beaten South rivals Burkina Faso during their first friendly 2-1 with Manchester United wonderkid Amad Diallo scoring a last-minute free-kick to secure the win for his side.
Both team will reunite for the very first time since the final of AFCON 2015 which Elephants clinched at the expense of Black Stars. Revenge in the air.
