Spain and Sweden ended their opening game with goalless draw. Spain were favourite but didn’t take advantage of their position.
A dominant performance for Spain who were denied by the excellent saves of Olsen and poor finishing from Morata in particular. Sweden sat back for the majority of the game, though did have a couple of good chances of their own.
With this 0-0 draw with Sweden, Luis Enrique’s men sit second in Group E, two points behind leaders Slovakia who beat Poland 2-1 earlier on Monday.
Sweden defender Victor Lindelöf ended the game with the Star of the Match trophy.
