Bafana legend Quinton Fortune has completed his UEFA Pro Licence to be among the most qualified coaches from South Africa. Fortune took to his social media platforms to announce the news as one of the many European-based graduates for 2021.
Fortune is arming himself with knowledge as he continues to climb up the coaching ladder being already on the journey.
The 44-year-old mentor is currently a first team coach at Reading after he was appointed in September 2020. Prior to his appointment at Reading, Fortune was an assistant coach for the Manchester United U23 team. Fortune also worked as one of Stuart Baxter’s assistants at Bafana Bafana between 2017 and 2019.
Fortune graduated alongside a number of prominent former players such as Chelsea legend John Terry, and former Orlando Pirates midfielder Luis Boa Morte.
