Serie A Champions Inter Milan are watching carefully the situation of Cameroon and Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper Andre Onana whose contract will expire next year with the Dutch club.

Onana has been a long time target for English Premier League side Arsenal.

However, it has been reported that Gunners have never tabled an offer to land the 24-year-old from Netherlands.

This and the shortening of the player’s UEFA doping ban has raised interests from all over Europe as the Barca graduate caught the eyes of Inter Milan.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter Milan have met with André Onana’s agent who is the same agent of Arsenal right-back Hector who is as well in their viewfinder as Achraf Hakimi is closer than ever to joining Paris Saint-Germain.

The Sky Sports journalist revealed that Inter made some inquiries about André Onana, but the player’s intention is to stay one more season with Ajax.

This said, his contract will expire and he could join the club of his choice. It favored also Inter who have financial problems due to the Covi-d-19 pandemic which led to the departure of their coach Antonio Conte.
