English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albian have announced the signing of Zambian midfielder Enock Mwepu from Austrian champions Red Bull Salzbourg on a four-year deal.
The 23-year-old has just landed in England to put pen on paper and complete his deal to the Seagulls.
Brighton officials decided to sign him as they seem to loose control in their quest to keep Malian midfielder Yves Bissouma who is closer than ever to joining Arsenal.
“Albion are pleased to confirm the signing of Enock Mwepu from reigning Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg on a four-year deal, on undisclosed terms”, the club announced on social media.
Last season, Enock Mwepu scored 10 goals and provided 7 assists in 45 games with RB Salzburg across all competitions.
He becomes the latest to join English top-flight after his compatriot Patson Daka who signed for Leicester City few days ago.
