Dani Alves

Pharco FC’s head coach Magdy Abdelaty admitted that Dani Alves will be a big addition to the Egyptian Premier League should the Brazilian legend join them.

Alves, 38, has been linked with Pharco FC since they secured their first ever promotion to the Egyptian top-flight.

This came after the former Barcelona star was involved in a campaign to fight Hepatitis C which was initiated by the club which is one of the greatest pharmaceutical industry in Egypt.

Abdelaty said the most decorated footballer (39 trophies) has even promised to the club that he will not mind joining them if they are promoted to the Egyptian top tier.

“Dani Alves has a personal relationship with the company’s president and officials since collaborating with them years ago in promoting the Hepatitis C vaccine,” Magdy Abdelaty told OnTime Sport TV, as per KingFut.

“Alves promised Pharco officials since last year that if the team got promoted to the Egyptian Premier League, he would not mind joining them, but we don’t know his current desire or his contract with the Brazilian club Sao Paulo.

“Of course, Dani Alves will be a very big addition to the Egyptian league, given his achievements with Barcelona and the Brazilian national team,” he concluded.
