COSAFA COSAFA : Group B remains open: Namibia v Zimbabwe, Malawi v Mozambique

Group B of the Cosafa Cup remains wide open, but all that could change after two games earmarked for today in South Africa.

In a lunchtime kick-off, the 2015 champions Namibia host six-time winners Zimbabwe at Isaac Wolfson Stadium.

Namibia lead the five-member table with three points from one game followed by Senegal on three points earned from two matches.

The rest of the teams, including the Warriors of Zimbabwe, are on one point apiece.

In the other match, Malawi and Mozambique have a chance to take leadership of the group when the neighbours clash later in the day.

Mozambique started the campaign with a goalless draw against Zimbabwe whereas the Flames let slip a two-goal advantage to share the spoils with Zimbabwe on Thursday afternoon.

The games are taking place behind closed doors in Nelson Mandela Bay where 10 teams are in two groups of five each and the top two from each pool will proceed to the semifinals.

The tournament started on July 6 and ends on July 18. Zambia are the defending champions and are in Group A.
