African superstars Mohamed Salah (Egypt) and Sadio Mane (Senegal) have both reported to Liverpool pre-season camp in Austria, on Sunday evening after long holydays.

Jurgen Klopp’s team will start their Austrian journey from this Monday, July 12 with a 34-man squad named ahead of the new season.

While some players involved in Copa America or Euro 2020 can not, the available one have already landed in the German-speaking country.

It is a new chapter which starts for both players with Sadio Mane set to wear Reds’ outfit for the fifth consecutive season after joining them from Southampton.

Last season, the 29-year-old striker has had what he called himself as the worst season of his footballer career as he just scored 16 goals and 9 assists in 48 games. While netting 22 goals and 12 assists in 47 games during 2019/20 season.

The Senegalese forward will aim at working hard during this pre-season camp in order to regain his stunning form.

On the other hand, Mohamed Salah has had an outstanding 2020/21 campaign with the Reds scoring 31 goals and providing 6 assists in 51 appearances.

The Pharaoh was heavily linked with move away from Anfield at the end of the season, but did not leave the Merseyside outfit finally.

Both Salah And Mane’s contract situation are the same as the will all expire in June 2023.

In addition, other African players such as Cameroonian centre-back Joel Matip, Nigerian forward Taiwo Awoniyi and Guinean Naby Keita are all expected to join the camp in Austria.
