Kaizer Chiefs have commented on the situation of their head coach Stuart Baxter ahead of CAF Champions League final against Al Ahly next Saturday.
The British manager is yet to sit on the Glamour Boys’ bench for a game since his appointment over three weeks now.
This because he didn’t get his work permit yet and fans continue to question his presence on the touchlines for the Naturena-based club on Saturday at Mohamed V Stadium in Morocco.
“You can work on the status quo as it has been for the last two matches. We are hoping that we’ll get the work permit before we are traveling to Casablanca and have the coach on the bench,” Chiefs’ Communications manager Vina Maphosa said, as per The South African.
“But as things stand we are covered. If [Stuart Baxter is] on the bench or not on the bench, we are good,” he added.
