Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie revealed his decision over his future at Serie A side AC Milan as rumours of his departure continue to flow down for him in this summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the San Siro club this summer.

And Premier League giants Liverpool were one of the frontrunners queueing to land him.

However, Kessie has decided to stay at AC Milan as he feels happy with the Rossoneri and does not intend to move away.

“I want to stay at AC Milan forever. I’m proud of this club and I’m not planning to leave AC Milan, absolutely”, Kessie told Gazzetta dello Sport after Ivory Coast’s goalless draw against Brazil at Olympic Games.

According to famous Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, talks are underway for the contract extendion of the former Atalanta Bergamo’s player.

In addition, Franck Kessie whose contract will expire in June 2022, joined AC Milan in July 2019 and managed to score 30 goals, provide 15 assists in 184 appearances across all competitions.
