After completing his move to Qatari side Al Sadd FC, Ghana captain Andre Ayew is now looking forward to learning alongside his new head coach Xavi Hernandez.

The 31-year old faces a new challenge in his career and is eager to start it and obviously win titles.

And for this to happen, Ayew knows that he he needs to follow instructions of his coach who is Barcelona and Spain legend Xavi.

The former Marseille winger praised his new manager and expressed his pride to work under his guidance.

“Xavi, the coach of the team, was a great player and played for a long time with the biggest and best club in the world – Barcelona, ​​and he is now a coach for the best club in the Gulf after playing with the team for five years”, Ayew told Al Sadd’s web.

“I follow the Al Sadd team and watched the development that took place in the team’s performance in terms of entertaining football, the positioning of the players and the great tactics with which the team plays. I expect to learn a lot from him during my time with him.

“My goal is to win titles, to make the fans happy, and to strive hard to win the AFC Champions League”, he added.

Additionally, Andre Ayew is expected to be part of Al Sadd’s squad that will travel to Barcelona for the preseason cap in Olot on August 2.
