Nigeria Iheanacho Assures Leicester Supporters Of A Better Season

Kelechi Iheanacho has promised Leicester City supporters that the team will do better in the 2021/2022 Premier League after winning the Community Shield.
 
Leicester City won the Community Shield for the first time in 50 years courtesy of Iheanacho who came off the bench and scored from the spot.
 
Iheanacho started from the bench in the new season curtain raiser against his former club Manchester City.

He joined the fray in the 79th minute as he replaced Harvey Barnes in an intriguing Community Shield that had supporters back to Stadium.
 
In the 87th minute, Andre Marriner penalized Nathan Ake for fouling Iheanacho inside the box.
 
The forward took matters into his hands and converted from the spot to hand the Foxes their second Community Shield title.
 
After the game, the club released a short video clip of Iheanacho thanking their supporters on who came to cheer them to victory.
 
The Foxes will kick off the 2021/2022 season against Wolverhampton at the King Power Stadium next week Saturday.
