Egypt national team head coach Hossam El-Badry has revealed his five abroad Pharaohs for the matchday 1 and 2 of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers next month.
As usual in Egypt, five foreign players are handed a call-up during each of the international break to join a list of local-based players to represent Pharaohs.
With the first two qualifying games of the Qatar World Cup set to come early in September, El-Badry named his five abroad players with Aston Villa’s Mahmoud Trezeguet missing out as he carries an injury.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal), Ahmed Hegazi (Itihad Jeddah), Hamed Hassan Kouka (Olympiacos) and Mostafa Mohamed (Galatasaray).
Egypt are located in Groupe F alongside Gabon, Libya and Angola.
Pharaohs will kick off their qualifying campaign at home by hosting Angola before traveling to Gabon on Stempber 5.
In addition, only five spots are given to African teams in the World Cup and only nations which ended at the first place of their groups will make it trough to the next round.
