The quartet of Praise Ofoku, Favour Ofili, Anita Taviore and Tima Godbless clinched the Bronze medal in the women’s 4x100m at the ongoing U20 World Athletics Championship.
The quartet ran a time of 43.90s to finish third.
Jamaica ran a World U20 Record of 42.94s to win GOLD, with Namibia getting Silver in a NU20R of 43.76s.
In the men’s 4x100m, a faulty last exchange saw team Nigeria failed to finish the race.

Udodi Onwuzuruike had maintained Nigeria lead from the start only to failed to properly hand the baton to Brume who stumbled.
South Africa went on to win the Gold medal as they ran a World U20 Record of 38.51s with Jamaica getting the Silver and Poland the Bronze medal.
