Ghana Premier League Fatau Dauda handed new role at Legon Cities ahead of 2021/22 season

Veteran Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda will be handed a new role in the coming 2021/22 Ghana Premier League with Legon Cities.

According to local media reports, the 36-year has been made goalkeepers coach of the Royals for next season.

Fatau joined Legon Cities in January 2019 after terminating his contract with Nigerian powerhouse Enyimba FC.

Regarding his age, the club officials decided to give him that new role as they want him to transmit his experience to the young ones.

Fatau Dauda who has had stint at Orlando Pirates and Chippa United in the South African top-flight has also won the 2014/15 Ghana Premier League title with AshantiGold SC.

In addition, he was Black Stars’ number one goalkeeper during the 2014 World Cup in Brasil after the AFCON 2013.
