Zambia Janza feels honoured by CAF invite

Zambian football coach Honor Janza has said he is honoured that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has invited him to attend a CAF Instructors Course scheduled for Tanzania.

The Zambian Elite CAF Instructor was reacting to the invitation he has received for the course which will run from September 6 to 21.

In reaction, the former coach for Mbabane Swallows (Eswatini) said he was looking forward to the course.

 “I am humbled with the recigniton that Caf has continued to uphold in me and the trust they have in me as a CAF instructor with this invitation again to attend a CAF instructors course in Tanzania,” he said.

Janza said he was ready to share the knowledge with Zambia football fraternity and the rest of Africa.

 “I owe it to both CAF and my own country, Zambia and I will always be ready to share the knowledge with my country and Africa in helping to uplift the [football] standard in Africa of coaches and in my own country Zambia,” he said.

Janza was until recently working as the Chief Executive Officer and Technical Director for Napsa Stars FC.

He held a similar position for Football Association of Zambia and also coached Red Arrows FC.

Janza was part of the Herve Renard-led coaching panel that guided Zambia to the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations title.

The course will attract some of the continent’s top football instructors.
