Tanzania national team head coach Kim Poulsen has named a 25-man squad for Taifa Stars’ back-to-back header against Benin in October for FIFA Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

Tanzania secured four points out of their first two qualifying games earlier this month.

Mbwana Samatta and teammates forced DR Congo to a 1-1 draw at Kinshasa on September 2 before defeating Madagascar 3-2 in Dar Es Salam on matchday 2.

Poulsen then called up all of his key players for the double header against Benin with whom they are co-leaders of Group J with four points each.

In addition, Tanzania will host the Squirrels on October 7 before travelling to Cotonou three days later for the second leg.
