FIFA U20 WORLD CUP Super Eagles Good To Go Without Ndidi, Etebo, Iwobi-Rohr

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has rued the absence of Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo ahead of Thursday 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying game against Central African Republic.

Ndidi suffered a hamstring injury while in action for Leicester City against Burnley and has been sidelined for four to five weeks.

Etebo would not be available for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by Cameroon.

Rohr in his presser ahead of the game said although the duo alongside Alex would be missed, team can cope in their absence.

We will be missing two of our midfielders (Ndidi and Etebo), even Iwobi is out too.

“It’s not good but we to deal with the situation.

We have other players who can replace them

The Super Eagles will host Les Fauves at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos on Thursday.

The reverse fixture is billed for the Japoma Stadium, Douala on Sunday.
