Libya manager Javier Clemente is banking on luck to ahead of Monday FIFA World Cup qualifier game against Egypt in Benghazi.

Libya lost 1-0 to Egypt in their third Group F game in Egypt in a game that was dominated by the Pharaohs at Borg El-Arab.
Javier while speaking after the game said he was proud of his players.

He admitted that facing Egypt at their fortress was a difficult task and congratulated them on winning the game.

“Facing Egypt was difficult because they were better than us today, and I congratulate them on winning.

“Today’s loss put Egypt top of the group and one point ahead of us, but during the next match in Libya, we will do a special job.

“I don’t have a specific plan for the next game, but I hope we are better and to clinch the three points.

“Egypt have very excellent players and Queiroz has many solutions, we hope luck is on our side the next game, which will be a crucial one for both teams.

It was the first loss for the Mediterranean Knights who are now second in the group with six points .
