Cameroon beat Mozambique to move into pole position in their World Cup qualifying group on Monday afternoon. Cameroon scored the only goal of the encounter in the second half to take lead of Group D with two games remaining.
Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui scored the all-important goal in 68th to lift Cameroon two points clear of Ivory Coast, who play Malawi later on Monday.
Malawi are next up for Cameroon on 11 November. The indomitable Lions will then meet Ivory Coast in what could be a winner-takes-all group decider three days later.
