The Teranga Lions of Senegal become the first African nation to qualify for the next round of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers following their 3-1 win over Namibia this afternoon.
Aliou Cissé’s men were shaken in the first 30 minutes of the game as Mamelodi Sundowns talisman Peter Shalulile responded to Famara Diedhiou (22nd minute) in the 27th minute.

However, the Alanyaspor centre-forward bagged another two goals respectively in the 51st and 84th minutes.
Senegal won all their four games so far in these qualifiers and are through to the next round even before the 5th and 6th matches to be played in November.
