William Troost-Ekong retained his starting place in Watford defense under new manager Claudio Ranieri ahead of today’s Premier League game against Liverpool.

Troost-Ekong was away on international duty with the Super Eagles in their double header FIFA World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic when Ranieri was announced as new manager.

The former Udinese defender is making his 35th appearance for the Hornets.

Mohamed Salah will make his 200th appearance for Liverpool as he was included in Jurgen Klopp starting eleven.

The Egyptian is two goals away from equaling Didier Drogba’s record as Africa highest goalscorer in the Premier League.
