CAF CAFCC: Enyimba Gets First Away Win After Three Years

Enyimba FC kept an away clean sheet in the CAF Confederation Cup for the 1st time since September 2018 after 11 failed attempts in their 1-0 win against Diambars.

Cyril Olisema scored from the spot three minutes from time to give Nigeria’s Enyimba a precious away 1-0 in Senegal.

Enyimba under new head coach Finidi George, gave a good account of themselves.

The game looked in its was heading for abl share of the spoios when the two-time African champions were awarded a penalty after Orok was brought down inside the box.

Olisema stepped up and converted the resultant penalty in the 87 minutes which was the only goal of the game.

Enyimba will return to Aba with an important away goal ahead of the return leg.
