UEFA Champions League We’ll Prepare For The Game In Tiraspol-Sheriff Coach Vows

Sheriff Tiraspols FC manager Yuriy Vernydub says the club will be well prepared for the UEFA Champions League return leg against Inter Milan.

The Champions League debutant suffered their first loss following a 3-1 defeat against Inter Milan at the Guisseppe Meaza on Tuesday night.

The Moldovan champions had defeated Shakthar Donetsk and Real Madrid in the first two Group D games.

Speaking after the loss to Serie A champions, Vernydub, praised his players for their effort against Inter noting that his players fought to the end.

A good game against a big club.

“We tried to play football and the team looked decent.

“We not only defended, but also attacked.

“We scored a beautiful free-kick goal and there were other good moments.

“We lost, but I am grateful to the guys for the game, for their dedication.

“They fought to the end. We will prepare for the game in Tiraspol.”
