CAF Champions League Hearts Of Oak Departing Ghana With 24-Man Squad To Meet Wydad In CCL Return Game

Accra Hearts of Oak leave Ghana today for Morocco for the second leg tie of the Caf Champions League. The Ghana Premier League side recorded a slim 1-0 win against Wydad Atheltic Club in the first leg of the preliminary round of the competition.

Isaac Mensah scored a sensational goal after connecting Ibrahim Salifu’s beautiful cross in the first half. Hearts of Oak will be hoping to play in the group phase of the competition for the first time since 2006.

A total of 43 contingent will fly out of Ghana today 21st October 2021 with an Emirate airline at 17:00GMT.
