In-form Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has caught the attention of Paris Saint Germain (PSG) who could make a move for him when the transfer window opens in January.  The Ligue 1 giants are considering making a move for The 22-year-old .

According to Calciomercato, PSG could offer Mauro Icardi in a cash plus swap deal to Napoli for the services of Osimhen.

PSG are looking to offload the Argentine, who is unsettled due to his problems with his wife and agent Wanda-Nara. And the Ligue 1 side believe Osimhen is the perfect replacement for the former Inter Milan star. The Nigerian international has started the season like a house on fire following an indifferent first year in Naples.

Osimhen joined Napoli from Lille for a club and African record fee of 81.3m euros in 2020. Although he scored ten goals in 24 league games in his debut campaign, more was expected from the Super Eagles star.

However, this season, he is finally showing why Napoli paid top dollar for his services with eight goals in nine games already.

Osimhen is currently valued at 60m euros according to transfermarkt. But PSG will have to pay almost twice that if they are to get their man.
