Last Sunday when Wydad AC visited the Accra Sports Stadium for the first leg meeting, the team played in front of fans of Hearts of Oak where they lost 1-0 at the end of a very difficult contest.

Although fans in Morocco initially knew they will have the chance to rally the team from the stands of their home stadium, a new government directive means that all games are to be played behind closed doors.

As a result, Wydad AC will have no extra backing from the stands this weekend when they host Hearts of Oak.

With the fans of the club unhappy, they have sent an official letter to the management and board of the club asking that they be given the chance to be at the stadium to support the team.
