Zambian striker Patson Daka turned from being a four-goal scorer in a midweek Europa League game to an assist provider for Leicester City as they saw off Brentford 2-1 in a Premier League match on Sunday afternoon.

Daka, who scored all the four goals as Leicester trashed Spartak Moscow, provided the assist for James Maddison who scored Leicester’s winning goal at the end of a blistering counterattack.

The Zambian had come off the bench to replace Jamie Vardy the striker the youngster must have been brought to understudy.

Telemans had put Leicester ahead in the 14th minute only for Jorgensen to level matters for the rookies before Maddison’s late clincher.

Leicester have now won back-to-back games after earlier beating Manchester United 4-2 last week.

The Foxes are on ninth place with 14 points after having played nine games.

Brentford remain on 12th position with 12 points from nine games in what is an impressive debut performance for the rookies.
