With Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane being the main men for the Reds these last years, Goal has made a Top 10 of the African players in Liverpool history.

The Egyptian and the Senegalese are on top of the ranking with legendary Zimbabwean goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar being at the third position.

Former Ivory Coast skipper Kolo Toure ranked fourth just ahead of Cameroonian centre-back Joel Matip.

Matip is followed by his compatriot Rigobert Song who is regarded as one of the all-time best defenders in Africa.
