Malawi have relocated to South Africa temporary to start the final stretch of training for the World Cup qualifying match against Cameroon on Saturday.
The Flames welcome the Indomitable Lions at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg in the Group D academic clash.
The Flames had their first training session at Wits University on Tuesday morning with most players available save for Mozambique-based John Banda, Gerald Phiri (Sudan) and Charles Petro (Moldova).
The three players are expected to join camp by Wednesday afternoon.
The third-placed Malawi wind up the group assignments when meeting bottom-positioned neighbours Mozambique three days later in Benin.
Malawi are merely fulfilling the fixture as the qualification race is now between group leaders Ivory Coast (10 points) and second-placed Cameroon (nine points).
The Flames have three points, two points in front of the Mambas.
Malawi and Mozambique are playing their matches away because their home venues were condemned as unfit to host Fifa-sanctioned games.
Malawi coach Meck Mwase has since left out star striker Gabadinho Mhango from the 25-member squad for academic World Cup qualifying matches.
Mhango is working his way back to full fitness from an injury at Orlando Pirates in South Africa; hence his exclusion from the squad.
The Flames mentor has since recalled striker Hassan Kajoke to replace Mhango.
