Hugo Broos

South Africa head coach Hugo Broos says Ghana is the side under pressure ahead of their decisive match tonight which will decide who makes it to the paly-offs round of the World Cup qualifiers.

Bafana Bafana are currently on top of Group 13 points. That is three more than their tonight opponent and a draw is all they need to secure a next round spot.

Speaking ahead of the game, the Belgian manager made it clear that Milovan Rajevac’s side is the one who is under pressure.

“I think for Ghana they have to be in the next round. They have nearly always been in World Cups (Ghana did not qualify for Russia 2018, but did make it to the three previous finals), they are a team with much experience and for them, it is a bigger problem if they are not in the next round. The pressure is on them,” Broos said
