CAF Champions League CAF Women’s Champions League: Hasaacas Through To Final

Hasaacas Ladies became the first team to reach the final of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League following a 2-1 win against ASFAR.

Hasaacas having won the WAFU Zone B qualifier tournament,continued to prove as title favourite as they booked the first ticket courtesy of goals in both half.

The Ghanaian side put up an impressive performance against their Moroccan opponents at the Al Salam Stadium on Monday.

Doris Boaduwa got her side inn front in the first half, but ASFAR levelled before the break through Najat Badri in the last gasp.

Perpetual Agyekum failed to score from the spot after Hasaacas were awarded a penalty in the 66th minute.

However, the tournament top goal scorer Evelyn Badu came to the rescue for her team as she scored the winning goal .

Hasaacas will now await the winner between the second semi-final game between Mamelodi Sundowns and Malabo Kings.

The maiden edition of the TotalEnergies CAF Women Champions League currently being hosted by Egypt had eight teams divided into two groups.

The final will be played on Friday, 19 November 2021 at 30 June Stadium in Cairo.
