Pending the draw of the play-offs round which will take place on 18th December in Doha, Qatar, below is the 10 African nations qualified.
Pot 1 : Senegal, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Nigeria.
Pot 2 : Cameroon, Egypt, Mali, Ghana, DR Congo
The play(offs matches will be played in March 2022. That is a month after the 2021 Africa Cup of nations in Cameroon.
South Africa has appealed to FIFA after they lost the game against Ghana on a single penalty.
They didn’t like the way the referee controlled the game or for awarding the penalty. Bafana Bafana – South Africa have a history when it comes to replays. Having lost a match 2-1 to Senegal, FiFa had the match replayed for the 2018 world cup, but they lost 2-0 to Senegal.
