Africa Soccer Video : Cameroon fans spotted singing “Fecafoot President” when they saw Samuel Eto’o in Japoma Stadium

A group of Cameroon supporters were spotted on Tuesday night calling Samuel Eto’o “Fecafoot President” at the former Indomitable Lions’ striker arrival at the Japoma Stadium.

The five-time CAF Ballon d’Or winner watched Cameroon’s 1-0 home win over Ivory Coast from the stands as his nation validated their ticket for the play-offs round of the World Cup.

Prior to the Kick-off of the game, Eto’o was warmly welcomed by the fans who were singning his name saying “Fecafoot President, Fecafoot President”.

That is in reference to the 40-year old’s candidacy for the coming Football Federation of Cameroon Presidency on December 11.

Samuel Eto’o will officially submit his application for Fecafoot Presidency this Wednesday, November 17 at the Organization’s headquarters in Yaoundé.
