Nigeria NFF Eyes Krstajic As Potential Replacement For Rohr

As the rumour of Gernot Rohr sack intensifies, there are indications that the  Nigeria Football Federation NFF could appoint  former Serbian national team coach Mladen Krstajic.

Rohr’s contract could be terminated this week going by fillers AfricaTopSports got from reliable source in the NFF.

Rohr came under fire following Super Eagles 1-1draw against Cape Verde in their last Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier.

Krstajic, 47, who managed Serbia at the 2018 World Cup, is a free agent after left his post as head coach of Serbian club TSC last month.

The former defender was capped 59 times by his country and scored two goals.

The deal could be finalized this week to prepare the Super Eagles ahead of next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon and the Qatar 2022 playoff.
