Napoli has confirmed that Victor Osimhen suffered a fractured eye socket and cheekbone.
Osimhen played for 55 minutes in Napoli’s 3-2 loss to Inter Milan on Sunday Serie A game.
The Super Eagles forward collided with Inter player Milan Skriniar in the 51st minute.

Osimhen was immediately rushed to a hospital and the club confirmed that the forward will undergo surgery on Monday.
The club confirmed in a statement :
“Medical tests on Victor Osimhen after Napoli’s clash with Inter showed that the player has sustained a fractured eye socket and cheekbone.”
Inter Milan also showed their solidarity to the player in a statement on their official Twitter account.
“Speedy recovery and see you out on the pitch again soon! “
