Napoli has confirmed that Victor Osimhen will be out for three months after undergoing operation to his cheekbone and eye socket.
Osimhen collided with Milan Skriniar in Napoli’s 3-2 loss against Inter Milan in Sunday’s Serie A game.
Napoli in a statement on Tuesday said that Titanium plates and screws were used in the operation.

“On Tuesday morning, Victor Osimhen was operated on his cheekbone and eye socket by Gianpaolo Tartaro, who was assisted by Dr Mario Santagata with Dr Raffaele Canonico also present.
“Titanium plates and screws were used in the operation.
“The player is doing well and will remain under observation for the next few days.”
“Osimhen is expected to return to action in three months.”
The forward will miss the 2022 African Nation Cup to be hosted by Cameroon next year.
