Zambian striker Fashion Sakala stepped off the bench to score for Rangers FC when they beat Livingston 3-1 in a Scottish Premier League match played on Sunday afternoon.
Rangers scored through Sakala, Scott Artield and Joe Aribo to lead the standings with 33 points from 14 games, four points ahead of rivals Celtic.
Sakala leapt the highest to score in the 79th minute and hand Rangers new manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst his first win with the Scottish side.
He replaced Steven Gerrard who joined Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Sakala joined Rangers this season from Belgian side Oostende. He is among the new generation of Zambian footballers with so much potential alongside Enock Mwepu of Brighton and Hove and Leicester City’s Patson Daka.
