Nigeria Premier League NPFL: Kano Pillars Unveils Salisu As New Manager

Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL side Kano Pillars have officially unveiled Salisu Yusuf as their new technical adviser ahead of the 2021/22 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

Salisu who had coached the Sai Ma Su Gida side 12 years ago will take over as the new technical adviser of the club.

Salisu led Kano Pillars to win the NPFL title in the 2007/2008/season.
In his second stint with the club, he led them to qualify for the CAF Champions League.

Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje while welcoming Salisu to the club said he is optimistic the gaffer will bring his vast experience to the club.

Ganduje who was represented by his deputy governor Nasir Yusuf Gawuna welcomed him back to the club.

Salisu D-Black is highly experienced, having coached the Super Eagles National Team,we have confidence with him at the helm of affairs,he will return the club to its rightful place in the Nigerian and African Continent Football Ganduje…this is your home therefore you are welcome back.

Salisu was relieved of his position as Enyimba manager at the end of the 2020/2021 NPFL season.
