CAF Champions League CAF Confederation Cup Second Leg Between Orlando Pirates And Oilers Cancelled

Orlando Pirates opponents, Oilers of Liberia, have withdrawn from the competition. According to rports from iDiskiTimes, CAF confirmed their withdrawal.

CAF has received a letter from Liberia FA confirming the withdrawal of LPRC Oilers from the TotalEnergies CAF Confederations Cup this season.” Read the statement.

Consequently, this weekend’s scheduled fixture between Orlando Pirates and LPRC Oilers has been cancelled in accordance to Regulations of the competition.” Continued CAF official statement.

The great news is that the Bucs are through to the next round.

Pirates won the first leg in Liberia 2-0. And the second leg has been cancelled. Meaning, Oilers have officially withdrawn from the competition. And the Bucs are through to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.
